The silk scarf is approx. 130 cm x 130 cm and is made of crepe de chine.
Crêpe de Chine is a silk fabric for which a crepe thread made of silk is processed in a special weaving process. A rough or grainy surface is characteristic of the fabric type "Crêpe".
Crêpe de Chine is a very high quality filament construction among the fine silk qualities. The material is very dense but semi to opaque depending on the weight. It has an annoying, sandy surface that is easy to feel with the fingertips.
The seam on the side is hand-sewn!
